Acceptable Use Policy

Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out the content standards that apply when you upload content to our site, contact other users on our site, link to our site, or interact with it in any other way. By using our site, you confirm that you accept this policy and agree to comply with it. We may amend this policy from time to time, so please check it each time you use our site to make sure you understand the current terms.

General Terms of Use

(i) you own the content you post on or through the service, or otherwise have the right to grant the rights and licences set out in these terms; (ii) posting and use of your content on or through the service does not violate, misappropriate, or infringe on the rights of any third party - including, without limitation, privacy, publicity, copyrights, trademark and/or other intellectual property rights; (iii) you agree to pay for all royalties, fees, or other amounts owed as a result of content you post on or through the service; and (iv) you have the legal right and capacity to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction.

You must not use it:

To breach any local, national, or international law or regulation. For any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, or in a way that produces an unlawful or fraudulent effect.

To bully, insult, intimidate, or humiliate anyone.

To harm, or attempt to harm, minors in any way.

To knowingly send, upload, or transmit viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware, or any other harmful code designed to disrupt or damage computer software or hardware.

‍To refrain from posting hateful comments anywhere on the platform, including community groups or public spaces linked to Mira Zahui. Doing so will result in your access being revoked, with no refund issued.

Not to duplicate, copy, reproduce, or resell any part of our site.

Not to interfere with, damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to:

any part of our site;

any equipment or network used to store our site;

any equipment, network, or software owned or used by any third party; or

any software used in the provision of our site.

From time to time, we may offer interactive services on our site. Whenever we do, we'll clearly explain what kind of service it is, whether it's moderated, and what form that moderation takes.

We'll make reasonable efforts to assess the risks third parties might pose to users — particularly children — when using our interactive services, and we'll decide case by case whether moderation is appropriate and what form it should take, based on those risks. That said, we're under no obligation to oversee, monitor, or moderate any interactive service on our site, and we expressly exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from a user's misuse of these services in violation of our content standards, whether moderated or not.

A Contribution must:

‍Defame anyone, or contain obscene, offensive, hateful, or inflammatory material.

Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.

Be likely to mislead or deceive.

Breach any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual obligation or duty of confidence.

Promote illegal content or activity.

Bully, insult, intimidate, humiliate, or promote violence against anyone.

Contain sexually explicit material or child sexual abuse material.

Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm, or annoy anyone else.

Be threatening or abusive, invade someone's privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience, or unnecessary anxiety.

Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with someone.

Falsely suggest that your contribution was created, approved, endorsed, or officially published by Mira Zahui.

Alter, modify, or adapt the service, or change another website in a way that falsely implies it's associated with Mira Zahui.

Infringe on anyone's copyright, database rights, or trademarks.

Advocate, promote, or incite unlawful or criminal acts (for example, copyright infringement or computer misuse), or encourage others to commit them.

Contain a statement that you know, believe, or have reasonable grounds to believe the public could interpret as encouragement or inducement toward acts of terrorism.

Involve sending unwanted emails, comments, likes, or other commercial or harassing communications ("spam") to other users of the website.

Include advertising, promote other services, or contain links to other websites.

You're solely responsible for any links you share on this website, and we take no responsibility for third-party links posted by users. If we find that any links you've posted don't comply with our terms, your access to the service will be removed.

Breach of this policy

If we determine that you've breached our Acceptable Use Policy, we may take whatever action we consider appropriate. Non-compliance with this policy is treated as a material breach of the terms under which you're permitted to use our site, and may lead to any of the following:

Immediate, temporary, or permanent removal of your right to use our site.

Legal action against you to recover all costs, on an indemnity basis, resulting from the breach — including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal expenses.

Further legal proceedings against you.

Disclosing relevant information to law enforcement, where we reasonably believe it's necessary or where required by law.

We exclude our liability for any action we take in response to a breach of this policy. The list above isn't exhaustive — we may take any other action we consider reasonably appropriate.

How this contract can be transferred

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to a third party, as long as doing so doesn't adversely affect your rights under these terms.

Which country's laws apply to any disputes?

If you're a consumer, please note that this policy — including its subject matter and formation — is governed by the laws of Lebanon. You and we both agree that the courts of Lebanon will have exclusive jurisdiction.
